Introducing “I’ve Got Your Back!”

We’re super excited to announce the launch of Hollaback!’s “I’ve Got Your Back” campaign! “I’ve Got Your Back” is all about bystander interaction and how you can help when you see someone being harassed on the street. Click on the link or the tab above to check out what it’s all about.

With this campaign, we also have a new feature on our “Share Your Story” page. You can now submit bystander stories! Have you witnessed someone being followed, catcalled, taunted, or otherwise bothered on the street? Did you try to help out? Did you maybe just feel frightened or helpless? Submit your story to us!

And as always, we’d love to hear what you do when you see someone being harassed in public. Leave a comment here and let us know!

We actively denounce the notion that street harassment is culturally accepted and that victims somehow "deserve" it. Through raising awareness and sharing experiences, we hope to put an end to catcalling, groping, stalking, public masturbation, assaults, racial slurs, and other forms of street harassment.
