Hey Boston activists and side-walk chalk enthusiasts! We’d love to meet you all this Saturday at 8am on the steps of the Boston Public Library! We’ll be chalking messages about Hollaback! Boston and street harassment awareness on as much pavement as we can fit. If you think you’re game or would like to stop by and learn more about our work, we’d love to have you! Bring your friends and any sidewalk chalk you can scrounge up– but we’ll have materials, too. See you there!

We actively denounce the notion that street harassment is culturally accepted and that victims somehow "deserve" it. Through raising awareness and sharing experiences, we hope to put an end to catcalling, groping, stalking, public masturbation, assaults, racial slurs, and other forms of street harassment. Because we believe we have the power to create a world where we can feel hot, confident, and badass, while still feeling safe!
